 Insurance Deductible / Excess Amounts
The renter is responsible for the excess/deductible amount of €700 on car groups A-J & €1000 on car group L.

 Fuel Policy
Cars are usually supplied with half a tank of fuel which must be paid for when you pick up the car. This is charged for at the government price / litre and on most cars this will cost between €24 and €35 (approx €48 on group L). You are advise to return the car empty as no refund will be given and any fuel left is seen as a gesture of goodwill to the staff.

 GPS Satellite Navigation systems
These are available but must be pre-booked at a rate of €5.90 / day with a minimum of €40 per rental.

Optional Extra Insurances:
Super CDW & TDW- This insurance is optionally available to remove 75% of the applicable excess in case of accident, damage, theft or vandalism, costing €7 / day on car groups A-H and €9 / day on car group L (minimum 3 days)

Full Damage Waiver - This insurance is optionally available to remove ALL the excess responsibility entirely in case of any damage, theft accident or vandalism costing €12 / day on car groups A-H and €15 / day on car group L (minimum 3 days)

Personal Accident Insurance: This insurance is optionally available at a charge of €3.50 / day to cover the driver and passengers of the rented car in case of injury or medical expenses up to a limit of €12,000 (an excess of €125 is applicable) Minimum 3 days

Address / Hotel delivery
All hotel, airport, harbour or address deliveries & collections on Malta mainland between are charged at €7 each way All hotel or address deliveries & collections on the island of Gozo are charged at €40 each way

After Hour rentals:
All rentals commencing between 5pm and 8am (any location in Malta & Gozo), or on Public Holidays are subject to a one time after hour delivery charge of €13.75

Payment requirements:
You must present a credit card, as an imprint will still be required as a security against parking tickets / traffic violations, damages to the vehicle and the excess amount. Unpaid parking tickets on your departure will be charged to your credit card.

Age Requirements
Minimum driver age is 21 years holding full license for at least 3 years. Drivers aged 21-24 will be obliged to pay an insurance surcharge with a fixed non-waivable excess of €500. Maximum age is 70 years. Drivers aged 71 - 75 may be insured upon presentation of a valid driving license + a recent doctor's certificate stating fitness to drive. Surcharge and higher excess applies.

Tyres / Punctures
Our 24hr roadside assistance service is available free of charge to change any punctured tyre. Tyres & wheels are not covered by the insurance, so all punctures are to the renter's expense. Tyres / rims damaged during rental are at the renters expense and must be replaced forthwith.

Additional Drivers
All additional drivers must present their driving license at time of rental to be insured. A daily charge of  €4.00 / driver is applicable.

Car Groups / Models
Please note that particular makes & models of cars are not guaranteed. We only guarantee the requested group & specifications  (eg: compact / aircondition / automatic). In case a car within your booked group is not available you will receive a free upgrade.
